Just like all other living organisms.
Live as long as they can and spread their genes all over the place!😀
In the meantime, our brains started to adopt ways of processing, analyzing, and judging in accordance with these goals.
This means if a certain way of thinking helped us survive a situation or increased our chances of finding mates, biology wired that in our brains and kept making it stronger and stronger over time.
This is how our judgment was built.
Even if a way of thinking was flawed in many aspects, it was adopted and wired in our brains as long as it helped us to survive and reproduce more.
That’s why our judgment has many systematic errors built into it.
This book is about 99 of them. Each is presented in 3 pages with vivid and relatable examples and experiments.
It was so good that I didn’t want to finish it fast. It took me 49 days (in a row!) to finish it. I only read 2 chapters (6 pages ~ 20 minutes) each morning with a cup of coffee.
I enjoyed it so much. I learned so much.
Happy reading! 📙
