i'm daniel daneshi, a tool maker. by day i lead a software engineering team at entirely; by night i build mailover, an ai email client trying to cure the email hangover and win your attention back from the inbox noise. i write under @_generalkaizen about building, craft, and thinking.

my one idea, worked from every angle, is kaizen: 1% better daily, compounding small edges in the product, the craft, and the body, over years. i care more about process than outcome, consistency than intensity, and evidence than confidence. i love building systems that solve everyday problems, and read up to 20 books a year, mostly non-fiction. mute the world, and build your own.

mailover

ai email that reads for you. shannon solved the wire; mailover solves the meaning: it pulls the decisions and deadlines out of the noise and hands you a daily briefing.

the things i've built and the places i show up. a short, curated list. if it's here, it's because it's worth your time.

now

a snapshot of what has my attention today, and nothing more. it changes as the work does.

shipping mailover: narrowing scope to the calmest possible inbox, cutting a feature a week.
serializing the maker’s code: one chapter a week, written in public.
recording the email hangover, season two.
reading systems thinking and deliberate practice; keeping a public reading log.
health: consistency over intensity (a daily walk, and no zero days).
