I was doing most of the tactics mentioned in this book to make more time in each day. Things like deleting social media apps (and even accounts), cutting the news-checking, or getting rid of any app that was taking a chunk of my time. I was doing that using the Screen Time app on my iPhone and recognizing those apps and deleting them.

But I was curious to see if I can learn more tactics to free up more time in my days so I can take more control of my time and also be more intentional about spending each extra hour that I might free up. Well, after reading this, I realized I could also get rid of my Gmail and even my browser apps which they call in the book: “the Swiss Army Knife of distraction!” (: the perfect description. And many more other useful ideas.

There is plenty of other stuff related to a distraction-free, energized, and fulfilling day.

I really like their ideas even though I already knew a lot of them before reading this and I was using them in my daily life. It’s always a huge deal if you can find a tactic that helps you free up even 1 hour per day.

Definitly recommend it to anyone who has a smartphone or an email account or even a TV! It helps you prioritize your life and make more time in your days to spend on whatever is important to you by changing the defaults that are set for you by big corporations!
