Start with Why

The worst thing about this book is that after reading the first 20%, it becomes annoyingly predictable.

The book’s structure is like a while loop with 3 statements:

while (page succeeded because they started with why`) console.log(‘${failureStories[page]} => failed because they didn’t start with why’) console.log(‘people don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it.’) }

on the sales front: Interesting idea. Nice stories. Great marketing. on the science front: well… hard to back up.

what I think? I think he is kinda right, why? If you look into human’s history, you see we always organized in cult like structures.

what do I mean by cult?

In a neutral context, a cult can refer to any group of people who share a common interest or belief and come together to practice or celebrate it. For example, a fitness cult might be a group of enthusiasts who are extremely dedicated to a particular exercise regimen or fitness philosophy.

All in all: annoying read, hard to back marketing idea which I kinda like!
